To celebrate 140 years of business we are sharing some of our pictures from our photo archive. We could not have reached our 140th anniversary without our amazing staff, in our archive we have lots of pictures of our employees, however this is a special one from 1988. Featured in the local newspaper Mr Marsh is pictured with Mr West receiving a long service award for 50 years with Westpack. But Mr Marsh is not our longest serving member of staff, this year our Operations manager retired after 54 years with us. The dedication, skill and experience doesn’t end there, at our Midland site the average length of service per employee is 18 years and in our Sheffield site we have given out three long service awards this year for 25, 30 and 35 years. #dedication #westpack #businessanniversary #packaging #webelieveitswhatsontheinsidethatcounts

It was great to pop in to see our latest installation at Westpack in Kirkby in Ashfield. Westpack has two sites, its larger production facility in Sheffield caters for all grades including heavy duty. Its sister site in Kirkby is a more conventional sheetplant, but is now also able to produce heavy duty cases as well, thanks to its latest addition the GTS Boxstar 3000HD. The machine is also equipped with two die cut units, making it easy to produce tuck in box with hinged lids.
