Olivia is the Senior Merchandising & Digital Marketing Associate and has been an integral part of the Weyco Group team for almost 3 years! Get to know Olivia: 💼 What do you enjoy most about your job? The endless opportunity for personal and professional growth. I’ve had the opportunity to go to conferences, meet people from other offices, and work with other teams to make merchandising processes more streamlined. 🐶 What has been your favorite memory while working here? My golden retriever, Leia, has been in several Nunn Bush photoshoots! It’s fun to get out of the office and experience a photoshoot, especially when your fur baby is stealing the show! 🌎 If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be? Domestically, the Pacific Northwest, specifically Seattle. Internationally, Scotland! 📖 What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I teach Pilates at the WAC and absolutely love working out. I also enjoy cooking, reading, trying new restaurants, thrifting, doing DIY house projects, and spending time with friends on our boat!

We’re excited to continue our #EmployeeSpotlight series with Sandra Ruiz Murillo! Sandra is a Supply Chain Specialist in our Purchasing Department and has been a valued member of the Weyco Group family since March 2022. Get to know Sandra: 💼What do you enjoy most about your job? I love the environment here at Weyco. Everyone is so nice, and I really appreciate the activities the company organizes for employees. It creates a great sense of community. 🏆What has been your favorite memory while working here? One of my favorite memories is when our Purchasing department went to Whirlyball in Brookfield for a team-building activity. It was such a fun way to bond with everyone! 🍬What is one thing you can’t live without? One thing I can’t live without are sweet treats. 🏃What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Recently, back in April, I started running 3-4 times a week to train for a race, and it’s something I’ve really grown to enjoy. 

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Ryan Butts in our #EmployeeSpotlight series! Ryan is our talented Senior Footwear Designer and has been a creative force at Weyco Group for 9 years. Get to know Ryan:  💼What do you enjoy most about your job? I enjoy the creative aspect of my job, where I get to design and bring new footwear concepts to life. 🏆What has been your favorite memory while working here? One of my favorite memories is being crowned the 2018 Cornhole Champion! Really all the work events are up there for some of my best memories here. 🌴What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? The most daring thing I’ve ever done is ziplining through the rainforest in Puerto Rico. It was an exhilarating experience. 👪What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially taking my boys on hikes and to explore new lakes.

Our annual cornhole tournament wrapped up yesterday and it was an exhilarating day of fierce competition! Congratulations to our top teams: 🥇 Gonzalo Nieto & Joe Maciejewski 🥈 Chandler Gilmeister & Paul Slotty 🥉 Jonathan Meyer & Becky Nehmer (subbing for Brianna Donner) 🥉 Keven Ringgold & William Ayling Championship day was marked by lovely weather and a delightful pizza lunch for everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone back next year for another exciting tournament!

Our Purchasing and Imports Departments recently had a fantastic afternoon of team bonding, featuring a lively round of mini golf and some spirited batting cage action. The top performers in mini golf were awarded exciting prizes. It was a hole-in-one kind of day! ⛳⚾👏

Brendan is our dedicated Paid Media and Marketing Channel Associate and has been an invaluable member of the Weyco Group family for about a year! Get to know Brendan:  💼What do you enjoy most about your job? The people I work with have a great sense of humor. It makes the work environment fun and enjoyable. 🎸What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? I was in a band and played bass. Despite being very bad at singing, I decided to get up and sing at one pretty large gig we had. 🌍If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be? I would love to visit Norway. The beautiful scenery is perfect for biking and running. 📚What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy reading and writing, especially creative writing and journaling.
