Kicking off year two of Delta Air Lines' partnership with Wheels Up strong! On Tuesday, Wheels Up announced that they’re acquiring new aircraft and implementing enhanced Wi-Fi, and we couldn’t be more excited for what these updates mean for our corporate customers. Wheels Up is replacing its current fleet within the next three years with two of the most preferred and successful aircraft in the industry: Embraer’s Phenom 300 and 300E aircraft and Bombardier’s Challenger 300 Series.      This is all financed through a new credit facility provided by Bank of America, and Delta is providing credit support – highlighting our continued commitment to the Wheels Up partnership.   We’re so proud of the progress we’ve seen from Wheels Up throughout our first year of partnership, and we can’t wait to see what we will accomplish together in year two and beyond!

Customer-centric service meets best-in-class aircraft. We’re excited to share our fleet modernization strategy, including the introduction of new members to the Wheels Up fleet: the Embraer Phenom 300/300E and the Bombardier Challenger series, two of the most preferred and successful aircraft types in the industry. Once completed, the transition in fleet is expected to lower the average aircraft age by approximately 10 years – a fleet transition with wide-reaching operational implications, including expected improvement in operational performance, operational efficiency and, in turn, an enhanced customer experience. #UPthewayyoufly
