PTFE COATED MIXING IMPELLERS Mixing + Blending Systems often times need custom coating to be compatible with the process chemisty. For example a typical mixer shaft/impeller assembly would be fabricated in 316Lss base (or Hast C or other exotic alloy) then we weld on the impellers of choice (single or multiple), prep the welds + assembly for coating, and then the coating process happens, we spark test, QC, and prep for shipment. NOTE we usually leave x" of bare metal on shaft top which is the part to engage into the mixer drive - often times the shaft top end must me machined accordingly depending on the mixer design.
