WIA is thrilled to extend a special invitation to women and nonbinary storytellers from Africa and Asia to apply for a unique mentorship opportunity that could significantly enhance your chances of being selected for the 2025 Stories x Women program. 𝔸𝕡𝕡𝕝𝕚𝕔𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤 𝕔𝕝𝕠𝕤𝕖 𝔽𝕣𝕚𝕕𝕒𝕪, 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥. 𝟚𝟘! Stories x Women is a program by WIA and FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations), sponsored by The Walt Disney Company and UNESCO. The program supports authentic stories told by women and nonbinary storytellers from emerging national animation communities. It offers creators exclusive access to world-class mentoring and the opportunity to pitch their projects at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the world’s largest animation festival. Why Apply For the Mentorship Program? This fall, WIA, with support from UNESCO, is offering Mentorship Circles designed to help you strengthen your pitch bible and refine your storytelling. These circles are specifically tailored for storytellers from eligible countries who plan to apply for the 2025 Stories x Women program.
