Join our team as a Staff Accountant! 💼 Wildfire Credit Union is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant at our Saginaw location. In this role, you will maintain accounting records, manage subsidiary ledgers, post entries to the general ledger, and handle the accounts payable system. Additionally, you will assist with daily reconciliations and financial analyses. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; and 3-5 years of related experience in a financial institution is preferred. You should be familiar with related computer applications and possess a solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP, the time value of money, compounding, and amortization. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are crucial in this role, along with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
