These 9th graders from The Neighborhood Academy are celebrating their certification in the Electrical Foundations Micro-Certification from Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy. They learned about different robots, why they are used, and how the skills they learn can be applied to future opportunities. Congratulations to these amazing students - and thanks to our generous donors who help us provide $100 Amazon gift cards to each student in recognition of this outstanding accomplishment! - with Will Allen and Shannon Lynch

Happy National Good Neighbor Day! 🌟 Back in August, our Students in Action group from The Neighborhood Academy had the incredible opportunity to visit Fred Rogers Productions and enjoy a delightful lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. A big thank you to Paul Siefken, Will Allen Foundation Board Member and President & CEO of Fred Rogers Productions, for the warm welcome and inspiring tour! Fred Rogers' vision of nurturing children's social-emotional learning through media continues to shine brightly. His legacy lives on in every episode of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and beyond. We're grateful for the chance to experience firsthand how Fred’s values are carried forward with innovation and care. Here's to spreading kindness and making the world a better place, just like Fred Rogers taught us. 💛 #GoodNeighborDay #FredRogersLegacy #Community
