About us

At Willamette Valley Bank, we do things differently. Unlike the big out-of town money center banks, we have built our reputation on our commitment to the families and businesses of the Willamette Valley. We listen to what our customers want and we work to provide it- locally and personally. We've built our bank to be your reliable, trusted, hometown community bank. The Willamette Valley is our home and we have the know-how and home financing strategies to make that dream home a reality. In the past year alone we have helped over 1,300 Northwest families purchase or refinance their homes. We know small businesses because we are one. Local lending decisions mean in-depth knowledge of our small business customers and the commercial financing they need to be successful. Whether it is for the dentist down the street, the home-builder next door, or the manufacturer in the business park, we are here for you. Call or stop by a Willamette Valley Bank branch today!

What does this mean for you as a borrower? - You could purchase a 2-4 unit home with only 5% down. - You could live in one unit and rent others to help offset the cost of your monthly mortgage payments. Making your down payment that much more affordable, and your monthly mortgage payment that much more affordable.

Willamette Valley Bank hosted its inaugural Free Community Shred and Security Awareness event at several of our locations in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. For an ENTIRE WEEK in August, community members could safely shred their old but still confidential documents. WVBK also helped shred participants stay informed of phishing scams that are unfortunately all too prevalent these days. Our Silverton team went the extra mile and dressed up as fishermen and women to ensure individuals ‘Don’t Take the Bait’ when it comes to phishing schemes.

On August 31st CDA Backpack Program held its First Back to School BBQ at our Sherman office in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This event was a huge success and it couldn’t have been possible without the support from the Coeur d’Alene community. Seven large collection boxes were filled with non-perishable, child friendly, nutritious food that will help families that may be experiencing financial hardship and do not have a dependable food source during the weekends or holiday vacations. If you missed out on the BBQ but still want to make a difference our 704 Sherman office will remain as a collection site for the school year. Most needed items are: granola bars, fruit cups, applesauce, oatmeal and peanut butter.
