Today I was honored to cut the ribbon at our new office in Salt Lake City where our combined teams from MountainWest and Williams now call home. With the morning sun streaming over the mountains, I could not have asked for a more beautiful day to celebrate our employees and our position as an energy leader in the West. We’ve been operating in Utah for a long time extending back to the 1950s with Northwest Pipeline, in addition to all our operations in the surrounding region. Last year, the MountainWest acquisition added approximately 2,000 miles of natural gas transmission pipelines across Utah, Wyoming and Colorado, as well as 56 million cubic feet of gas storage. I am thrilled to welcome the talented MountainWest employees into the Williams family to expand our capabilities and build on our strengths, including all we do for local nonprofits. Since 2010, Williams and MountainWest have invested $3.6 million in Utah communities where employees work and live. We expect that will only increase as we grow stronger. Thanks to all our guests who came out today, including government and community leaders, as well as several retirees from the region. Salt Lake City represents the energy gateway to the West and Williams is well positioned to lead the clean energy economy in the region as the need for reliable, affordable energy continues to grow.
