We are currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. Job Summary: The Civil Construction Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in using HeavyBid Estimating Software and performing detailed takeoffs, ensuring that all estimates align with project specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthwork, utilities, roadways, and site development. · Utilize HeavyBid software to create and manage estimates. · Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project plans and specifications. · Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimate. · Analyze project risks and develop contingency plans. · Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry best practices. · Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as necessary. · Prepare and present cost estimate reports to management. Qualifications: · Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Civil Construction Estimator. · Proficiency in HeavyBid software is required. · Strong ability to perform accurate and detailed takeoffs. · Excellent understanding of civil construction processes, materials, and methods. · Strong analytical and mathematical skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
