🐾🌟 Wildkats LEADING the Pack! 🌟🐾 Willis has some of the most exceptional leaders on our campuses! They are passionate and driven, and they are wholly dedicated to improving the lives of their students. During National Principals Month, we want to take the time to recognize and appreciate each individual who holds this title. Who's leading the pack at A R Turner Elementary? ➡ Dr. Michelle Hall! When we asked the staff about their amazing principal, here’s what they had to say: 💬 Debbie Szymczak "Dr. Hall has a true passion for what she does each and every day. She always strives to do what is best for students and encourages her staff to do the same. She listens and works diligently to find answers and solutions to problems that arise. She truly exemplifies what a leader should be." 💬 Claire Jeffcoat "Dr. Hall is so good about treating her employees as an equal partner in growing kids and working as a team to be better. She has given me confidence that I have lacked in myself and in my teaching for a long time. Whether it be sending a quick email to let me know about the good lessons she sees in my classroom, or just a positive comment in CTMs. She is a great leader and I feel privileged to work under her." 💬 Allison Lovett "There is not enough time in the day to talk about all the things I love about Dr. Hall and what makes her special. She does such an amazing job in making our campus feel like a family and making her employees know that they are valued and heard. Dr. Hall is still a teacher at heart and truly cares about guiding her teachers in becoming the best they can be. I know that Dr. Hall values my opinion and allows me to feel like she is on my team. I am truly blessed to work with her each and every day." #wearewillis #leadingthepack #education #principal #leadership #admin #schools #middleschool #thankaprincipal #nationalprincipalsmonth

Who's leading the pack at Lagway Elementary? ➡ Mrs. Kameron Wilder! When we asked the staff about their amazing principal, here’s what they had to say: 💬 Tracy Wheat "You've truly helped me grow so much— as a professional, as a teammate, and as a teacher. Your encouragement to step out of my box has inspired me to reach new heights...personally and with my students. I appreciate you more than you know!" 💬 Alyssa Calkin "Mrs. Wilder is one of the strongest, smartest, and sweetest people I've ever met and it's been such a joy to work with her. I've known her for a very long time & to shift into my post-college working life with her as my mentor has been amazing. She truly believes in every staff member and every student and sees their true potential. She could have a million things going on (she always does) and as soon as you come to her with a problem or a question she does whatever she can in that moment to help you solve it. I look up to her tremendously as an administrator and as a friend. Happy National Principal's Month, Mrs. Wilder; we love you big!" 💬 Carol Magin "Mrs. Wilder creates an environment where the community outside of the school building wants to come in and make an impact. I had not witnessed this type of community involvement in my many years of educational service. Mrs. Wilder's focus on the students AND the teachers is greatly appreciated." #wearewillis #leadingthepack #education #principal #leadership #admin #schools #middleschool #thankaprincipal #nationalprincipalsmonth

On October 22, Willis High School hosted a sportsmanship assembly for all student-athletes, featuring Stephen Mackey, founder of 2Words Character Development, to discuss The Texas Way. This statewide initiative promotes respect, self-control, and integrity in sports. 🏆💪 Our athletes discovered that true victory isn’t just about the final score—it’s about embodying the three pillars: respect for others, control of self, and the spirit of competition. Thank you, Coach Trent Miller and Stephen Mackey, for leading this important conversation! #wearewillis #education #students #athletes #thetexasway #sportsmanship #superintendent #stephenmackey #athletics #characterdevelopment #coach #coaching
