This #NationalMakeADifferenceDay, Saturday, October 26, we're rolling up our sleeves and giving back at several events throughout our communities. In #HoldenMA, we're joining Homes For Our Troops to help landscape the future home of Veteran Marine Sgt. Craig Brady, and we’d love for you to join us. His story is inspiring, and we’re grateful to our valued customer Mason Sky Enterprises LLC, the builder of this specially adapted custom home, for connecting us to this project. 🙏 If you’re local and available, we’d love for you to join and help make a difference for this deserving family in our community! To volunteer with Team WIN, please email comms@win-waste.com for all the details. ❤️ We encourage you to learn more about the heroic actions of Marine Sgt. Craig Brady and this project at hfotusa.org/cbrady.

We're looking forward to hosting another e-waste and sustainable dumpster day with Green Day Recycling at Smokey Chestnut Farm Rescue THIS Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit Smokey Chestnut Farm Rescue. We had an event just like this one back in April and we raised $5K for the animals under their care, so let's do it again! Please email comms@win-waste.com with any questions and for a full list of what we will be accepting and not accepting. We hope to see you there!

We had an incredible tour of Boston Medical Center's rooftop farm last week. Witnessing how the farm supports the preventative food pantry and how the food it produces is “prescribed" to patients for recovery was truly enlightening. Not only does this initiative help patients and those in need, but it also significantly reduces BMC's carbon footprint, making them more sustainable. It's an honor to partner with Boston Medical Center and support them in achieving their sustainability goals by converting their waste into renewable energy. Thank you for the tour David Maffeo! #BostonMedicalCenter #Sustainability #Partnership Boston Medical Center (BMC) WIN Waste Innovations Amanda Muscara

Congratulations to the incredible team at our Dutchess County #wastetoenergy facility for reaching a major safety milestone this month — one year without an OSHA recordable! 🏆 To celebrate, our hardworking employees enjoyed a delicious lunch from a local food truck. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together and reflect on the commitment to safety that has made this accomplishment possible. We're proud of our industry-leading safety programs and this team is a shining example of how we continue to set the standard to ensure we all return home safe, every shift, every day. 💪

National Make A Difference Day is just two weeks away on October 26! 🌟 At WIN Waste, we’re committed to making a positive difference every day — for our team, our customers, our communities, and the environment. It’s not just something we say, it’s actually one of our core values. 💚 So, what is National Make A Difference Day? It’s an annual day of service that encourages everyone to come together, take action, and improve the lives of others by making a positive impact in their communities. We proudly support hundreds of nonprofit organizations within our communities each year. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of them as well as local events our One Team members are leading or supporting to make a difference. Looking for ideas on how you can make a difference? Here are a few simple actions you can take to make a big impact in your community: 💪 Volunteer Locally – Whether at a food bank, animal shelter, or community center, giving your time can make an immediate impact on those in need. 🌎 Organize a Neighborhood Cleanup – Gather your friends and family to clean up local parks, streets, or beaches, helping to beautify your surroundings. Need cleanup gear? We can help with that! Drop us a note at comms@win-waste.com. 💰 Host a Fundraiser – Rally friends and family to raise money for a cause close to your heart, whether it's for a local charity or an individual in need. 🤝 Help a Neighbor – Offer to assist elderly or disabled neighbors with household tasks, groceries, or yard work. 🏥 Donate Blood – Giving blood is a simple, life-saving act that can benefit hospitals and those in need of emergency care. 💡 Share Your Expertise – Share your knowledge by helping students or young professionals develop skills and build confidence; or offer free workshops to help others learn valuable skills. 🌳 Plant Trees or Start a Garden – Organize a tree-planting event or start a community garden to promote sustainability and enhance green spaces. 🍎 Support Education – Donate school supplies or sponsor a classroom to help students and teachers get the resources they need this year. 🚀 Support Local Businesses – Shop small and support local entrepreneurs who play a key role in strengthening your community’s economy. We are always looking for meaningful community partnerships to improve the areas where we live and work, so if you’re involved with a local nonprofit that could benefit from our support, please reach out to comms@win-waste.com! #NationalMakeADifferenceDay

This morning, I attended a networking event hosted by the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce & Dramatic Hall with Alberto Villa. The session featured a presentation by Win-Waste Innovations, where David Shepperly and Whitney Waite shared valuable insights on the waste to energy plant in Peekskill. Great opportunity to learn from industry experts!
