At Windsor, we've often seen software buyers leaning towards enterprise-based solutions for enhancing business processes with little regard for niche software. While these solutions have their merits, the advantages of specialty solutions are often overlooked. I recently wrote a blog highlighting the disparities between the two approaches. If you're navigating a similar decision-making process, it's important to explore what might best serve your organization. Read more below...

While Earth Day may have passed a month ago, at Windsor Solutions we’d like to see Earth Day be an every-day occurrence, whether it’s bettering our surroundings by taking a moment to pick up a piece of trash, or whatever else we can do for our planet. Some of our team recently volunteered for “Pick Up for Pints” cleanup event and a delightful amber nectar brew was our reward at the end. Thank you Chatelle Hettig and Binary Brewing in Beaverton for organizing the "Pick Up for Pints" cleanup event. A shoutout to Brickhaus Coffee in Beaverton for generously supplying our workers with cold beverages, refusing any payment or tip. Thankfully, they can't refuse an online thank-you! Thank you, Brickhaus. It's a win-win-win: · Our small team bonded, set a positive example in our community, and experienced the satisfaction of giving back. · Binary Brewing gained new customers (count us in!) and contributed significantly to local cleanup efforts. Kudos to them. · Our community now boasts cleaner areas, especially around the wetlands, thanks to the collective efforts. Special appreciation to the Windsor crew who volunteered in the heat of the day. I encourage everyone to volunteer regularly—it's good for the environment and good for the soul.

The Biden Administration just announced a new series of wide-sweeping rules to cut pollution produced from coal and natural power plants. While Americans hold a diverse range of opinions on what to do about plant pollution, we know these plants have a considerable impact on greenhouse gas emissions. This major federal announcement is just one of many regulatory changes that state agencies need to track and implement. That’s why we architected ease and adaptability into our software platform nVIRO – so that environmental agencies can keep up with continual changes. https://lnkd.in/gP3nAkCg
