Christine Davis, PharmD, BCOP, is a medical oncology clinical pharmacy specialist at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, where she reviews treatment regimens, including dosing and drug interactions, and ensures patients get their medications affordably and on time. “Being at Emory Johns Creek for seven years, I appreciate the culture of having a team approach for patient-centered care within the setting of a community pharmacy practice,” says Davis. Davis also lends her expertise to Winship’s Gynecologic Oncology Working Group and several other Emory advisory committees. Having completed the pharmacy residency program at Emory, she is now one of the program’s preceptors, which allows her to teach and mentor the next generation of pharmacists.
