“Better to see once than hear one hundred times.” This axiom on the Broadway inspired foyer wall at Electronic Theatre Controls summed up Inside electronic Theatre Controls. Seeing is believing! WisconsinCIO Founding Member Bob Tollefson, Vice President of Business Technology at Electronic Theatre Controls and his team, masterfully: 💡Demonstrated incredible #lighting experiences in theatres, especially Broadway, broadcast studios, stadiums, and businesses or manufacturing sites. Even Disney cruise ships are equipped with ETC lighting. 🚥 Toured the incredible #manufacturing site, highlighting robotics, bike-trikes (I want one), safety lighting, lighting history and consoles from 1971, ready for emergency use for any show around the globe. Even “the death star” and Flash. 🤐 🔦Unpacked his technology strategy for success for his peer #CIOs with a year-over-year guide of key decisions that enabled success. The playbook was a powerful takeaway. Another unique facet of this Inspire Leadership Network branded event was learning about the successful collaboration between ETC and Baker Tilly Digital, weaving in best practices for trusted business partnerships. And cheering for Derek Hyde & the Milwaukee Brewers was a highlight! “Digital transformation is not about moving to the cloud, modernizing applications or automating workflows. Digital transformation requires modernizing experiences, becoming data-driven, and investigating your talent and organization’s future of work. Tim Dickson while we missed you, your wisdom at Inside at Generac Power rippled to Inside ETC. Thank you Bob, the ETC team and WisconsinCIO Underwriter Executives Dave DuVarney, Baker Tilly Digital | Nate Lefebvre, Concord & Kirk Deffke, Google Peer to Peer | Noncommercial | The answer is in the room.
