We Build More Than Bikes
Wish for Wheels turns dreams into reality for 2nd graders in your local community through unforgettable team building experience that’ll ignite your organization’s passion, increase your ROI and help kids in underserved communities pedal into new adventures.
Do you remember your first bike?
That fresh rubber smell, the smooth touch of cold metal on your legs and the grip of the handlebars as you buckled your helmet and got ready to ride with the wind at your back and the pavement in front of you…
Our founder, Brad Appel recognized that a bike equals freedom. Growing up it was both his stress relief and his window to the world around him. Decades later, he bought his three kids their first bikes and taught them how to ride. But he started to wonder…
“How did children from low-income families get their first bikes when their parents might be struggling to pay the grocery bill?”
Thus, Wish for Wheels was founded in 2004, with the mission of giving every kid in need their very own bike and helmet. They showed organizations & corporate teams the power of not just building a bike, but handing a brand new bike to a kid who’s been dreaming about one forever.
Imagine creating team building events that reignite the spark of creativity and create a culture of cooperation and respect… without the boring webinars, pizza parties and potlucks. All while helping a 2nd grader’s Wish for Wheels come to life.
That’s exactly what we do. Let’s get ready to ride together.
