Wolf-Gordon celebrates our Chief Creative Officer Marybeth Shaw on her receipt of the Wallcovering Association’s Allman Award in celebration of her outstanding contributions to and leadership in the wallcovering industry. The Wallcoverings Association recognized Shaw for her design-centered initiatives, which, in the words of the nominating committee, have “demonstrated the conceptual potential of commercial wallcovering.” Shaw’s licensed design program, which began in 2001 with Laurinda Spear’s provocative collection “Linework,” has transformed design approaches industry-wide. The WA also cites Shaw’s longtime commitment to sustainability both at Wolf-Gordon and beyond; she serves as the co-chair of the WA’s technical committee, where she is a fierce advocate for sustainability initiatives such as improving the recyclability of wallcovering products.
