I build AI agent teams and teach others how to do the same. Certified Expert. DM for more details

I was interviewed by Forbes magazine, and it wasn’t quite what I expected… Actually, it was even better. Here’s why… I had a massive pinch-me moment, and these pinch-me moments, I find, are the best kind. These wins are a massive reminder of how much hard work, dedication (and tears) it took me to learn what I’m teaching - AI agents. So when I had Tor Constantino, MBA approach me some weeks ago for an interview, I almost said “yeh right…really?” It wasn’t until we finally met last week that it hit me…ddaaammmnnn this is ACTUALLY happening. Forbes wants MY opinion, my EXPERT opinion. Quite often, I need reminding from others (my ladies and friends know who they are) how much value I hold. And it SHOULDN’T be like this. I feel like as a female in an industry such as AI, it can be hard to cut through the "brohood." I sometimes undervalue myself as a female expert because I feel like I’ve got some much more to prove. But nothing beats authenticity, showing your expertise (walk the talk, is that the saying? lol), and finding my people (both male, female, LGBT fam, neurodivergent, and EVERYONE else) where we just vibe and GET IT. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to connect with so many like-minded people who are so supportive of women in AI, and my heart sings with warmth. 13 months ago, I felt so isolated, and now I feel like I’ve found my purpose and my people. So thank you, Forbes, and for everyone who has played a leading role in my journey so far. Want to check out the article? Of course you do! Here it is: https://lnkd.in/gM8XGnYb PS - I'm only a little bit excited to use the "As Seen In Forbes" phrase and plant it everywhere 😂

The Future of AI is Here: DeepSeek AI R1 and the Rise of Open-Source Innovation What Makes DeepSeek R1 Special? 1. 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧-𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞: Unlike closed models, DeepSeek R1 is fully open-source under an MIT license, democratizing access to state-of-the-art AI for researchers, developers, and businesses alike28. 𝟐. 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧: Built for complex tasks like math, coding, and logical reasoning, R1 leverages a Mixture of Experts (MoE) architecture, activating only 37B of its 671B parameters for efficient, high-performance inference217. 𝟑. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞: The feature I liked the most is that it does human like real time thinking and shows the chain of thought before the actual response. 𝟒. 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: At just $5.6 million to train, DeepSeek R1 proves that high-performance AI doesn’t require billions of dollars. This is a stark contrast to the massive budgets of U.S. tech giants710. 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑹1: The Rise of Image Generation and Janus While DeepSeek R1 is making waves in reasoning, the AI community is also buzzing about advancements in image generation. Models like Janus are pushing the boundaries of creativity, enabling hyper-realistic visuals and artistic expression. Imagine combining DeepSeek R1’s reasoning capabilities with Janus’s generative power—this synergy could redefine industries from design to entertainment. 𝑱𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒅𝒆 - https://lnkd.in/gbjvD_iM What are your thoughts on DeepSeek R1 and the future of open-source AI? How do you see models like R1 and Janus shaping industries in the years to come? The three Alexa Dots in our house have long become glorified weather reporters and alarm clocks. While other AI assistants and copilots are surging ahead at an 'AI-time-scale,' Alexa seems to be frozen in time, virtually unchanged since nearly a decade ago. This FT article reports that Amazon has been working on making Alexa smarter for two years and lists some challenges Amazon still have to tackle in order to turn Alexa into a true household concierge: https://lnkd.in/gC3aHjiy.
