Our members are the heart of WBL — but we couldn't keep our organization thriving without our incredible staff! WBL (Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation) reposted this
Architect of Market Innovation | Catalyst for Culture & Value Creation | Senior Executive| Board Member
Started my day yesterday at Nashville Health Care Council Sessions with a WBL (Women Business Leaders of the US Health Care Industry Foundation) Breakfast and panel discussion about equity in the board room. The panel including Kathy Harris, Veronica Mallett, Jessica Beegle and Bobby Frist shared insights from their perspectives serving on boards and recruiting board members. The takeaway that resonated most with me was Veronica's comment that "women are afraid to recommend other women" for boards on which they sit. Women still have room to improve our track record lifting up other women. Men don't hesitate, women do. We've made progress, but we aren't done.
