More great news for WMM's award-winning new film MY STOLEN PLANET (dir. Farahnaz Sharifi)! It has won the Silver Hugo Award in the International Documentary Competition at this year's Chicago International Film Festival! Drawing on personal archives and 8mm archival recordings of strangers' lives, the film contrasts moments of private joy with public defiance to show the lives of women under the regimented oppression in Tehran. This beautiful film will be at DOC NYC @DOCNYCfest in November.
