Courtney Sullivan, M.S., CCC-SLP 🤩 has weekday evening and afternoon availability for home based pediatric speech-language therapy services in Greenwich, Darien & Rowayton! Courtney has eight years of experience in pediatric Speech-Language Pathology. She graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2016, where she received her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology with an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.67. Courtney received her certificate of clinical competence from The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the states of Connecticut and New York. Courtney has experience working in public and private schools, early intervention (EI, birth to three services), outpatient clinics, home-based settings, and skilled nursing facilities. She has experience evaluating and treating children as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of areas including motor speech disorders, articulation-phonology disorders, feeding, fluency disorders (stuttering), AAC, receptive language, expressive language, and pragmatic language delays and disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Courtney has particular interests in Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenging behaviors, motor speech disorders, and expressive language delays. She is passionate about working with families and caregivers, to provide strategies and coaching, to allow for the greatest carryover. Courtney believes effective therapy starts with establishing a solid rapport. She loves to keep therapy fun and fast paced. She is highly adept at thinking on her toes and changing things as needed, based on her client’s needs. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, English Bulldog, and cat. She also enjoys working out, playing sports, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
