It’s Pregnancy and Infant Loss Month. 💜 My personal and professional experiences inspired all of the books, and I can say with certainty that these families are truly going through some impossibly hard things… …missing this tiny special person that they never even got a chance to truly know …missing all the things that were supposed to be …missing the roles they were excited to fill …missing their chance to watch their sweet child affect the world …and then having such a heavy heart and clouded brain that they don’t have the words to talk about it. The thing is: these babies do matter. They do affect the world. Their loss affects their families and who they become. They affect what their families do for others. They inspire new ideas, empathetic goals, and good in the world. #pregnancyloss #infantloss #pregnancyandinfantlossawarenessmonth #pregnancyandinfantloss #griefafterbabyloss #stillbirth #miscarriage #medicaltermination #siblingsafterloss #siblingloss #childlifespecialist #childlifeauthor

WWR creates custom books that help kids process medical issues, understand life changing events, and remember loved ones
About us
Words Worth Repeating is a unique book creation business. It was created with the idea that kids can benefit from hearing important information in words they can understand. In addition, they benefit from getting information from people they know and trust. WWR books give families words to talk about hard things. WWR books start important conversations. WWR books have a variety of uses. In the same way that kids remember their favorite stories from TV shows and storybooks, children can understand a health condition of a loved one or remember a loved one who has died. Kids can take a book about their own condition to school to share with their teacher or class. Kids can develop pride in their own resilience, as a result of something hard they have experienced. It's not just books, it's a service. Words Worth Repeating helps families through a process of determining what things they would like to be in a customized book. WWR then creates the text of the book in words that communicate these important things in a non-threatening, easy to understand way. These books can be used in a large variety of situations including, but not limited to, a child's medical condition or new diagnosis, a medical condition or new diagnosis of their loved one, or the death of a loved one. Words Worth Repeating also creates books to help children know family members that they never got to meet. Words Worth Repeating also works with schools, clinics, and organizations to develop books that meet the needs of the children they serve, creating tools that are universal in regards to family dynamics, cultures, and races. Some of these books are available for purchase on WWR's website.

Legacy books are customized books written for children about a loved one who has died. It could a recent death and someone a child had an active relationship with, or it could be someone who died long before the child can remember. Legacy books have been an important part of Words Worth Repeating’s work since the beginning, and I am still a HUGE believer in keeping a loved one’s stories and spirit alive through the magic of books. Truth be told, the process needed a overhaul. I have been working all year to carve out some time to work on this passion-project of mine. So finally, this fall, the focus will be creating special Legacy Book Templates that family memories or family friends can utilize to easily create Legacy Books! Right now, I am looking for individuals who are interested in creating a Legacy Book for a child or with a child’s help. I would be happy to give you access to these new templates for free, in exchange for some feedback! Let me know in the comments or my DMs if you are interested! *If you are a family who has purchased a Legacy Book prior today, don’t stress! I am still happy to help you create a book for you OR have you utilize the template and help you print your book instead. Reach out, and let’s make a plan! #legacybook #grievingkid #kidsgrief #familygrief #childlifespecialist

Check it out! This fun book shows kids that truly everyone can play, and everyone can be a part of a team. This book is a great way for families to talk about differences and for kids to see themselves in the diverse characters. A perfect pairing with the Paralympics and back-to-school! Proceeds benefit Can Play.💜
