Ransomware attacks seem to occur daily and are having tangible impacts on our daily lives. What many people don’t know is there are individuals out there with the high-stakes role of negotiating with threat actors on behalf of organizations impacted by ransomware. Join us for a discussion led by a former ransomware negotiator to learn about how ransomware impacts an organization, the ransomware negotiation process, risk awareness and mitigation, and how to best prepare your organization for this eventuality.    This meeting is hosted by WEDI's Privacy & Security Workgroup.    This meeting is hosted by WEDI's Privacy & Security Workgroup. The workgroup is tasked to identify and work toward resolution on all implementation issues related to securing and protecting health information across the industry. They facilitate the review of privacy, security and cybersecurity beyond HIPAA/HITECH in the growing areas of EHR, HIEs, HIX"s and interoperability. If you are interested in joining this or other workgroups, contact Ariana Poole at apoole@wedi.org. https://lnkd.in/e9x5PsUV
