🤪 Bitte Anschnallen... Die letzten Wochen waren eine wilde Fahrt! In kürzester Zeit durfte ich an so vielen spannenden Events teilnehmen, dass ich kaum mit dem Posten hinterherkomme – aber dafür umso mehr gelernt habe! 🚀 Begonnen mit der World Class Business Leaders Conference 2024 in Frankfurt, wo ich über Transparenz und Public Reporting im Gesundheitswesen gesprochen habe, bis zu einem sehr spannenden Parlamentarischen Abend der Spitzenfrauen Gesundheit e.V. und ihrer Forderung nach geschlechtergerechter KI, waren die Themen ebenso vielfältig wie inspirierend. 🙌 Die dringende Schließung des Gender Data Gap und vielfältige Impulse zur digitalen Gesundheitsversorgung waren nur einige davon. Eines freut mich besonders: Es treten immer mehr tolle, inspirierende, kluge und großartige Frauen auf die Bühnen des Gesundheitswesens. Und bringen ordentlich Power in die Gemengelage. 🔥 Als besonders bereichernd empfand ich den Best-Practice Vortrag beim Value-Based Healthcare Seminar an der Technische Universität Berlin, den ich gemeinsam mit meiner Kollegin Gina-Sophie Labahn gehalten habe. Zusammen haben wir über die Bedeutung von PROMs in der Reha und die Abbildung der Ergebnisse für die Patientinnen und Patienten im DAS REHAPORTAL gesprochen. Mit so vielen engagierten Teilnehmenden und tollen Gesprächen ist klar: Das Thema hat bewegt! Unmöglich, alle tollen Menschen zu erwähnen, die ich treffen durfte… Ein großes allgemeines 🙏DANKE🙏 an dieser Stelle. 🌍 Reflections on a Meaningful Journey Towards a Circular Economy 🌱 In late September, I had the opportunity to attend the World Class Business Leaders conference for the second time. The focus on the Circular Economy, a transformative model that redefines our relationship with resources, was energizing. This is not just an essential pillar of CSRD reporting but a key area of commitment for Grupo MCS - MOTA CERAMIC SOLUTIONS, where we aim to lead with intention and integrity, recognizing the urgency and significance of this global shift. Each session's depth of experience and dedication reflected years of hard work and thoughtful innovation. Several presentations particularly stood out: 🔹 Nicole Huehnert from Mitsubishi Corporation discussed the Best Practices and Challenges Behind Carbon Neutrality, sharing practical insights into the realities of achieving this goal. 🔹 Flor Peña Herron highlighted the importance of taking bold, collective action in combating climate change, reminding us of the need for businesses to face challenges head-on and sometimes even help shape regulations to ensure real progress. 🔹Michel Hublet from Stanely and Stela Group introduced pragmatic Strategies for Carbon Footprint Reduction. 🔹Anna Braune from DGNB German Sustainable Building Council Group presented a robust case for the Circular Economy in Building Sustainability, demonstrating the potential of systemic change. 🔹Constantin Pittruff from P3 Group introduced the concept of the Digital Product Passport. This forward-thinking development will shift sustainability from corporate to product-level accountability, placing Ecodesign at the center of future business strategies. An inspiring takeaway came from Susana Carvalho from Bondalti in her Corporate Responsibility 2030 Strategy and Programme talk. She reminded everyone, "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you must decide what kind of difference you want to make." These words captured the spirit of the conference, an acknowledgment of our shared responsibility to drive positive change. Thanks to the World Class Business Leaders organizers, this year's topics were more precise and practical, equipping us with valuable reflections on how industries can navigate today’s sustainability challenges.
