Last week, the 2024 WTCA Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) was successfully hosted by World Trade Center Haikou on Hainan Island, China. Over 180 delegates, including 80+ representatives from 55 WTC businesses, attended the hybrid event. Themed “Connect Globally, Prosper Free Trade Port,” the APRM provided a valuable platform for WTCA members to network, share best practices through panels on exhibitions, trade services, and real estate, and receive updates from WTCA HQ and the APAC Regional Office. The event also supported Hainan’s efforts as it prepares to launch independent customs operations by the end of 2025.
