Hey folks! Just wanted to give you a quick shout, a thank you (again) for all your past and continued support, and give you a few tiny tidbits of news to update you with!
Starting off-we’ll soon be releasing Tyree Pope’s amazing album that we’ve been working on the last year. If you love smooth jazz with a touch of funk, you’ll love Ty’s Urban Groove, featuring members of the Latin Jazz All Stars, Irene Cara’s band (RIP), and the Drifters (yes-THE Drifters!!). Look for Ty’s Urban Groove on our label sometime in late April/May 2024.
Now, back onto our Punk/Hardcore/Metal side of things: We’re coming really close to releasing long awaited new music from Shrine for the Black Madonna (Shrine4tbm everywhere on the web), and will soon give you a little teaser single release, just so you know we’re not lying!
Jared Hassan Foles, and The Sweet Fuzzy Itsy Bitsy are currently composing music for the stage play “1001 Nights: Love Stories on Death Row (a Rock Opéra)”, written and produced by Olga El, to be performed live at NYC’s Fresh Fruit Festival, May 1-3, 2024. The band will perform new works written for the play live onstage as part of the play, and will separately release the music as an EP/album sometime thereafter. It’s be great for anyone in NYC at that time to get a glimpse of The Sweet Fuzzy Itsy Bitsy live! Current lineup features drummer Don McKenzie, bassist Aalics Bronson, and Jared Hassan Foles as guitarist and composer/producer. In the meantime, if you haven’t already-grab yourself a copy of The Sweet Fuzzy Itsy Bitsy’s latest, “The Masters of Rock and Roll”, and please share its existence widely with your friends and enemies alike!
We’re always in the act of making, so please stay in touch with us, feel free to reach out, and follow and like “worldeaternyc” everywhere across the internets!
