Women's Philanthropy at Indiana University brings women leaders together–providing connections, learning experiences, and opportunities to give back to IU. As a result, IU is a national exemplar for programs that engage women in supporting research, teaching, and philanthropic missions.
Through this initiative, the IU Foundation will work with the Women’s Philanthropy Leadership Council to engage and encourage women as critical partners of Indiana University.
The goals of Women’s Philanthropy at Indiana University are:
• Ensuring that overall fundraising efforts by the IU Foundation sufficiently capture the potential for women donors and supporters
• Ensuring that the educational programs to engage women are inclusive and offer a diversity of topics and activities that appeal to our key audiences
• Developing university-wide programs to engage women in philanthropic activities
• Developing specific programs to engage women leaders and develop the leadership potential in the female donor community
