I'm pleased to share that Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) successfully conducted a seminar in Kolkata on March 8th, 2025, in collaboration with the ILPA Indian Leather Products Association. The seminar brought together leading exporters of leather goods and key ILPA - Infrastructure Development Foundation officials. My sincere appreciation to Mr. Tapan Nandi, President of ILPA, and his team for their invaluable support in making this event a success. Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) is dedicated to promoting sustainable business practices within the leather industry through our comprehensive certification model, addressing social, environmental, customs compliance, and security aspects. I would join Subburaja Ayyasamy and K.T. Ramakrishnan to express our sincere gratitude to all the entrepreneurs who took the time to attend. Additionally, I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with Mr. P K Dey from M/s Raj Lakshmi Cotton Mills during our visit. WRAP remains committed to supporting Indian industries by providing solutions that alleviate audit fatigue, upgrade standards, and ensure compliance with international due diligence expectations. We believe in fostering a sustainable and responsible fashion industry in India.
