I was incredibly lucky to represent @coasttvnews this weekend at the Rehoboth Beach #walktoendalzheimers ... I have family dealing with some of these issues right now and it was great to give back a little.

Have you been following the case of medical waste washing up on Delmarva? Here's one part of our continuing coverage.
One of my Favorite PKG’s to date! A big hand in that was my photog/editor Ted Corriero. Delmarvas Coast has been plagued with bad luck this week from medical waste washing ashore, to now high tides causing beach’s to close and a no-swim advisory for a week. This was my PKG about where the beaches stand today. ⚠️🚫🌊
Welcome, Olivia! We are so happy to have you on our team!
Pleased to announce that I started my job this past week as a News Producer at WRDE CoastTV Looking forward to this journey!
Thank you, Mallory Metzner, for your years of dedication and excellence at CoastTV. This goodbye is very bittersweet; we will miss you dearly but are so proud of your next chapter!
The first photo is from April 2018 when my adventure at CoastTV began. Since then I’ve worked every shift from weekend to weekday reporter and from morning to evening anchor. It has been my honor to tell the stories of Delmarva and to speak at events for local organizations. I was born and raised in Lewes, DE. Reporting on my hometown has been a dream come true. The CoastTV team has given me lifelong friends. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of the opportunities I’ve been given. Stay tuned for what comes next…

Celebrating one year since we rebranded WRDE Coast TV to CoastTV has been an incredible journey. Leading this transformation was a huge project, and it wouldn't have been possible without the amazing collaboration across all departments. It started with a vision to give our brand a fresh, modern look. Working closely with our graphic designer, we created a bold new logo and a set of eye-catching news graphics. These changes not only look great but also make our news high-quality and our brand more engaging and recognizable. A big part of our rebranding was emphasizing our focus on hyper-local content, in which news was already starting to do. By highlighting stories that matter most to our coastal community, we've built stronger connections with our viewers and really showcased the unique vibe of coastal living. Working closely with the news managers to analyze ratings and help fine-tune how we push certain stories and newscasts has been very eye opening to the needs of the viewer. CoastTV has stepped up its presence in the community, sponsoring more events and connecting deeper with our audience. We’re not just covering the community; we’re part of it. Our local program, CoastLife, has become a cornerstone of our content strategy. By working closely with the team, we've pushed for more engaging topics and used a multi-platform approach to promote the show. This has brought our viewers entertaining and enriching stories, making our station more fun and modern. This has also opened new doors for sales opportunities, helping us serve our clients better. The vibrant look makes us an appealing platform for businesses wanting to reach a dynamic audience. Leading this project as my first major initiative since being promoted to Promotions Manager for Draper Media has been incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful for the hard work and support from every department. Together, we've transformed CoastTV from a TV station into a vibrant brand that entertains, informs, and engages with our community on multiple levels. #Rebrand #CoastTV #CommunityEngagement #HyperLocalContent #Teamwork #PromotionsManager
We are proud to announce that for the second year in a row, CoastTV won Outstanding News Operation at the Chesapeake Associated Broadcasters Association Awards. The category is viewed by many as the highest honor of the evening, and is one of CoastTV's seven wins of the night. https://lnkd.in/e67_w4iG
We are honored and grateful to be bringing home such big CAPBA wins. Our whole CoastTV news crew works tirelessly on and off-camera to bring quality news content to the coast. Teamwork makes the dream work!
For this year’s CAPBA awards CoastTV won seven as a station, including News Operation of the Year! I received second place for Outstanding Coverage of a Continuing, Outstanding News Series, Best Television Photography and Best Multimedia Journalist. I’m extremely grateful to be apart of this prestigious event and couldn’t have done it without my wonderful team! A big shoutout to CoastTV’s sister stations WBOC and DSN on their several awards as well! #localnews #capba #newsoperationoftheyear #awardwinning #nomination Madeleine Overturf Paul Williams

While other municipalities in Sussex County and the Town of Ocean City have passed ordinances to ban the sale and/or cultivation of recreational marijuana, Georgetown is considering rules to regulate these businesses within its town limits.
Take a look from above at storm damage in Ocean City that neighbors described as "crazy!"
The start of Memorial Day Weekend was full of debris for some Ocean City condo owners. Our CoastTV team worked together to get chopper footage, on-the-ground interviews, and meteorological information quickly for our viewers.
We are so grateful to have Mallory Metzner on our team! Check out her appearance at Career Day.
I love the career I have chosen and I love sharing my experiences with those who want to learn about it! Today I got to talk to middle school students about everything I do from finding and writing stories to making connections and meeting new people in the community. Every day is an adventure and no day working in news looks the same.
