WTS’ mission is to attract, sustain, connect and advance women’s careers to strengthen the transportation industry.

About us

Women's Transportation Seminar - Greater New York Chapter was incorporated and held its first organizational meeting in September 1980, with more than forty women holding professional positions in the transportation industry from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We were officially welcomed as the fifth chapter in WTS National's network in 1981. WTS-GNY's mission is to maintain and forge new relationships with national, state, and local organizations, energized by our informative transportation programs. Our members, their employers, and the industry benefit from the professional development, education, mentoring, networking, and diversity afforded by WTS - preparing us all for leadership in the 21st century.
