Utilizing all aspects of a property, including rooftops, is crucial for maximizing our spaces and enhancing sustainability efforts. We recently installed a 350-kilowatt solar energy system at The Exchange at Larkspur Landing, an office campus in Larkspur, CA, north of San Francisco. Our partnership with Wunder aims to deliver energy cost savings and reduce the property's environmental impact by generating 570,320 kilowatt hours of power annually, offsetting over 878,370 pounds of CO2 emissions. With U.S. Green Building Council LEED certified Platinum or Gold buildings, ample green space, and local honeybee hives, The Exchange at Larkspur Landing is a prime example of our sustainability program in action. #commercialrealestate #CRE #sustainability #innovation

Check out our recently completed solar project at our 93K SF industrial facility in the Chicago market. We partnered with @WunderCapital , a solar energy provider for commercial real estate assets, to install a 207kW system. The year one output is equivalent to 3,026 tree seedlings grown for 10 years! Our Head of ESG, Leslie Moore, who worked closely with Wunder throughout the installation, said, “We are excited to add another solar installation to our portfolio to further enhance LXP’s sustainability initiatives. Our partnership with Wunder provided us with an end-to-end solution without any capital outlay from LXP. We are appreciative of Wunder’s expertise and persistence in completing this project.” We continue to explore additional opportunities to expand our use of renewable energy.
