It was another bittersweet day here at WYMT as we said goodbye to the newest Duchess of Hazard. Olivia Calfee is heading to WVLT, WBXX, in Knoxville. Olivia was with many of you during the July 2022 flood. We appreciate her storytelling and love for the region. Your Mountain Family wishes you all the best, Olivia! You hear me talk a lot about WYMT's "Mountain Family." People often ask me if this is just a marketing phrase. It's not. Today, nearly two dozen former coworkers returned to the mountains to celebrate, love on, and support Brandon Robinson. The laughter, smiles, and tears say it all, "Family!" It is what makes WYMT special, and it is what makes Eastern Kentucky home. As Brandon said, "This is a good day, a special day!" Keep fighting, my friend! We love you!
