Our EVS team had an incredible time celebrating EVS Week at SALEM REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER! 🎉 They enjoyed delicious meals and snacks throughout the week, and everyone walked away with a special gift from our raffle. A big congratulations to our grand prize winner, Tami Salmen!   Our staff had the chance to win amazing prizes, and every team member left with a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.  In the EVS department, everyone is a winner for their commitment to keeping our environment safe and supporting the mission of saving lives. We’re proud to congratulate Xanitos-partnered hospitals for being recognized by Becker's Healthcare for having unplanned readmission rates below the national average. New CMS data from July 2022 to June 2023 highlights 116 hospitals that achieved this milestone, demonstrating the importance of maintaining high cleanliness standards to reduce infections and improve patient outcomes. Here’s a glimpse of EVS Week celebrations at Xanitos partnered hospital at NEA Baptist Jonesboro, Arkansas! They kicked off with Danish for Day shift, cookies and brownies for Evening/Clinic, and Night shifts. Game winners were:  Bag Toss: Paula Cline took the win!  Stack the Dice: Anna Lopez proved her steadiness and won.  Dart/Ball Toss: Wander Pena emerged victorious.  Pong Roll: Congrats to Oscar Martinez! For our EVS Heroes Spotlight, we’re excited to feature Lyree Kirk from Chestnut Hill Hospital - Temple Health !   Lyree has been with the hospital for 30 years, working in the OR and consistently going above and beyond. She is passionate about training her teammates and pays close attention to detail, which is crucial for infection prevention in the OR. For our EVS Week Heroes Spotlight, we’re proud to feature the incredible team from Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health Meet Yolanda, an EVS aide who has been serving patients for 19 years with remarkable dedication. Holly, another EVS aide, finds joy in making a positive impact on people’s lives through her service. And let’s not forget Jerry, a true team player in the Emergency Room, ensuring everything is clean and ready for the doctors and staff before they arrive. 🎉 Big Celebrations at Tennova Healthcare- Turkey Creek Medical Center for EVS Week! 🎉 Turkey Creek Medical Center has truly gone above and beyond for our EVS team this week!
