Last week, leaders from the R&R Family of Companies visited the Roberto Clemente museum. Roberto Clemente is remembered not only for his exceptional baseball skills, but also for his charisma and passion for helping others. The XEL FOUNDATION supports the impassioned commitment, the work of good will, and the value of legacy. Additionally, the museum is recognized as KultureCity Sensory Inclusive Venue. This week, RFX | REFE had the privilege to host a "Think Tank" session which included attendees from some of top suppliers for the United States Postal Service. Spearheaded by Pete Routsolias, this unique idea was birthed to highlight a collaborative approach through sharing best practices to bring improvements and efficiency gains to one of the largest shippers in America. One of our top priorities was focusing on safety, and hearing from an expert like Bill Shepard created new and intelligent ideas around keeping all parties as safe as possible in a world met with constant safety challenges. NICHOLAS ANZIANO grounded the group in new ways to continue the mission of Delivering for America, and ensuring the American public continues to receive a top notch product and push the new strategic initiatives to the forefront of the logistics world. An added benefit of our meeting was the honor I had in sharing with the group the incredible impact that the XEL Foundation is having on the Autism community. Rooted in the transportation space and founded by executives within the R&R Family of Companies, the audience was fitting as I explained the lives that have been changed through this incredible foundation. Every attendee was eager to sport our latest t-shirt and our mission of adding new partners to our team is gaining steam. Thank you for everyone who attended and the open mindedness to not only help push the Post Office forward, but use our time and resources to help with the Autism Community.
