Just leaving Washington DC after a great conference hosted by BuiltWorlds at the beautiful National Buildings Museum. I enjoyed serving on a panel with Dareen Salama of Gryps and Weston Tanner of VIATechnik, moderated by Stephen Anderson. A few interesting quotes to share from speakers: "Our industry must lean into complex problems...which means simplicity in solutions is paramount" (John Dionisio of Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc.) "New contech solutions that get acceptance show immediate benefits. No one in the field wants to hear about benefits that will come 6 months from now" (Clay Greene of Garney Construction) "Human error is still a large challenge and offers much opportunity for improvement" (Josh Edwards of WINT)

Based on customers inputs from live sites in the US and Australia as well as ideas and feedback from RE+ and Intersolar, we bring you new features for our Xpanner Connect dashboard for solar piling operations. Check out the video for an overview of its previous and new features! Overview: Xpanner Connect (formerly known as the Command Centre) provides piling data in numerical, graphic and site plan formats making project management a breeze! Its key offerings are: 🔆 Live process and production data, including driven, pending, and incorrect/refused piles 🔆 Planned vs actual project trajectory 🔆 Live reports on aggregate and per-machine fleet utilization 🔆 Options to upload and view project construction drawings and to modify project details New features include the ability to see your exact on-site location on map, daily utilization of equipment, the as-built heights of the completed piles vs. design specs (ie. in or out of design tolerance) and vs. adjacent piles  (ie. deflection tolerance). Using Xpanner Connect alongside our piling automation gives management and field teams real-time “as-built” production data, which enhances QC accuracy, saves time and resources on reconciliations, and provides contractors with production insights and patterns to improve future project efficiency. Many big and small GCs and EPC remarked on these benefits at Intersolar, and praised Xpanner Connect for its intuitiveness, actionable data, and potential for advanced analytics. We are very grateful for all the kind words! If you want to discover all this for yourself, DM us to secure Xpanner Connect for your next project! #ConTech #Constructiontechnology #Constructioninnovation #Xpanner #Automation #Piledriving #SolarFarm #SolarEnergy

🚀 Xpanner on a new continent! For the past few weeks, our field team has been in Australia conducting a solar farm PoC for our good friends Bouygues Group and EQUANS. With North America’s biggest clean energy expo RE+ happening this week, what better time to bring you a little teaser of the Xpanner team’s solar exploits in New South Wales. Xpanner’s first job in Australia took place near the beautiful town of Culcairn, known as “The Oasis of the Riverina” and it thoroughly lived up to its name. The vast meadows, grazing sheep, and stunning sunsets made this our most idyllic jobsite yet! Each evening, the sky turned a gorgeous pink, making our daily efforts feel truly rewarding. Xpanner’s Owen, Aiden, and Willie expertly handled everything from assembling the ORTECO | Piledriver producers pile driver and calibrating the automation to training the operators on its use and overseeing the automation. Great job, team! Thank you for giving it your all! Shoutouts to Quentin CRANCEE and Romain Antoine as well as the leaders Solar Farm Constructions who run such a disciplined, efficient, and safe site. It has been a pleasure to work with you on this impressively well-run project! We will bring you more details on this project in due course, so stay tuned! In the meantime, come meet us this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at RE+ 2024 in the Anaheim Convention Centre & Campus! ☀️ #ConTech #Constructiontechnology #Xpanner #Bouygues #Orteco #Piledriving #Automation #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy

Back by popular demand! More footage of a tiltrotator in action. This week we bring you part II from Pyeongtaek, South Korea, where a Steelwrist tiltrotator is put to excellent use at a high-rise construction site. Steelwrist tiltrotators boost productivity and save time with their incredible versatility on-site. As seen in the video, tasks like digging and then backfilling a winding trench become simple and straightforward because of the 45º tilt and 360º rotation of the bucket. If switching attachments becomes necessary, Steelwrist’s quick coupling system ensures that it can be done in seconds without leaving the cab or getting help from others! Sometimes, attachments aren't needed at all —the tiltrotator's built-in pincers can also handle various tasks like cleaning up construction waste as seen in Pyeongtaek. Utilizing a tiltrotator in construction means significant savings in time, manpower, machinery and cost, ultimately leading to more profitable operations. It also enhances worker safety and makes operating an excavator more fun, meaning a happier workforce! Ready to experience these benefits for yourself? Contact us to get started! #ConTech #Constructiontechnology #Xpanner #Steelwrist #Tiltrotator #Earthmoving #Excavator #Constructionsite
