We were honored to be selected as one of the Top 8 Startup Winners to present xPub (Techstars '23) at 1871 during Chicago AI Week. During the week, I met many amazing entrepreneurs, potential customers and investors. One of the conversations that distinctly stuck to me was that with Chris Gladwin from Ocient. Besides having over 250 patents under his belt, he's a stellar entrepreneur who built not only several successful startups but also a strong community in which good performance is appreciated in its true sense with equity benefits and by making sure that all employees get direct benefits with the growth of the startup. When you produce a great percentage of very high earning individuals within an organization, the benefit doesn't just stay within the organization but also translates into the local startup ecosystem as they start to invest in other young startups which go on to create larger impact. As I'm inspired by such a true form of empowerment, I aspire to promote such empowerment through xPub :)
