Updates

  • Security is currently top-of-mind for consumers. With 29% of people preferring biometric sign-ins over traditional passwords, integrating biometric authentication enhances security and user convenience (Bitwarden). Educating users is part of the process. Nearly one in five individuals continue to reuse the same passwords across multiple accounts, increasing the likelihood of unauthorized access (security.org). Strong, unique passwords are ideal, but biometric security adds another layer of protection against unauthorized access. By combining cutting-edge security technology with user best practices, we can ensure smart locks remain a reliable and secure solution in modern access control. https://lnkd.in/gtQnFH66  https://lnkd.in/ghUjtaW7  https://lnkd.in/gPP46tFz

  • "Twice a week, nearly a quarter of Americans misplace their house or car keys and more than half say that misplaced items regularly cause them to be late to work or school," according to the "Lost & Found Survey" by Pixie, a smart location solution for iPhones that uses augmented reality to show the location of misplaced objects. This not only affects personal schedules but also highlights the vulnerabilities that occur with a physical key. In a world where traditional solutions no longer meet the evolving needs of businesses and consumers, the transition to smarter and more efficient solutions is even more crucial to improve security and efficiency.

  • Studies show that where you work impacts how you work. Small changes like organization, adjusting lighting, investing in the right chair, adding a plant, and using smart home integrations can make all the difference. The latest smart home statistics show that 69.91 million U.S. households will actively use smart home devices in 2024, highlighting the growing reliance on technology to enhance daily life (Oberlo). Around 22 million people work remotely in the U.S., increasing the demand for smart devices and integrations to maximize efficiency and minimize distractions. As smart home integrations evolve, 65% of Americans now own at least one smart home device, signaling a shift toward more connected and efficient environments (Retaildive).

  • The future of hospitality is keyless. Gone are the days of lost keys and long check-in lines—smart locks are transforming guest access, making it seamless, secure, and efficient. According to the hospitality management platform Operto, keyless entry systems eliminate physical keys, reduce staffing costs, and enhance guest experiences with contactless check-ins. We’ve seen this already being implemented in hotels through our partnership with Hotel Julie, as well as Airbnb’s smart lock integration expansion, which allows hosts to offer contactless check-in, as well as remote control and monitoring. As hospitality tech evolves, keyless entry is becoming the standard. https://lnkd.in/dddAK7-G  https://lnkd.in/dbd5Dbyd
