Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by making this easy recipe for Bolitas de Coco. Recipe by Manager of Community Well-being, Kattia Blanco 👏: Ingredients; 1 bag of powdered milk, 1 can of condensed milk, 1 bag of unsweetened coconut flakes. Preparation: In a bowl, mix the powdered milk, condensed milk, and a portion of the coconut flakes until well combined. Using your hands, form small balls from the mixture. Spread some coconut flakes on a separate plate and roll each ball in the flakes, ensuring they're fully coated. Once done, arrange them on a serving plate and enjoy!

Kewhan Dickerson, OST & Summer Camp Director, was featured in "Voices from the Field" by the Denver Afterschool Alliance. From the piece: "Kewhan is exactly the type of person we want leading afterschool programs. He brings positive energy to everything he does, he vulnerably shares himself with others and he shows up with a warmth that is contagious."

As summer comes to a close and kids return to school, we want to thank L.L. Bean for giving the kids in our community a summer they will never forget. The scholarships L.L. Bean provided helped kids experience the outdoors and create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you L.L. Bean! #ThankYouLLBean #BeanOutsider

Former NFL player Nick Ferguson still leans on the lessons he learned as a kid playing YMCA Youth Sports. He no longer plays safety for the Denver Broncos, but he still works out regularly — at the Denver YMCA! Let's make sure all kids, including future pros like Nick Ferguson, get to experience the lifelong benefits of youth sports. #YouthSportsGivingDay #denverymcasports
