As we embrace our theme of Optimistic October, we are thrilled to re-introduce a remarkable addition to the wellness community—Tatum Lynch! Tatum combines her passions for Wellness Coaching and Personal Training in a space that helps others enjoy the mental and physical health benefits of being active through HEKA Well-Being. HEKA covers four spheres - Healing, Embracing, Kindling, and Achieving, and bridges mental and physical health to create a holistic practice to support and promote all aspects of well-being. Through a combination of life coaching, physical exercise, and meditative techniques, clients are challenged to heal any conflict within their bodies and minds. Tatum has a BA in Psychology and Social Welfare and is certified as a Personal Trainer, Life and Youth Performance Coach, Yoga and Meditation Instructor, and Athletic Healthcare. Tatum's commitment to bridging mental and physical health through wellness coaching and personal training aligns perfectly with our values at Yogamazia. Fun fact: Tatum once taught at Yogamazia and visits us from time to time :). She can't wait to learn and grow alongside you all as HEKA becomes a place where you feel a hug, find a friend, and amplify the best versions of yourself! Hi! I’m Michelle El Khoury, PhD - a mom business owner and founder of YOGAMAZIA. I was also one of the 47 million Americans who quit their job back in 2021. My previous career (over 20 yrs in fact) was spent working for major pharmaceutical companies, traveling the world educating on the benefits of the drugs they made. Now I help busy families achieve balance for a confident parenting journey. When I was pregnant with my second daughter, I was motivated by the desire for a different outcome than my first birth and that’s when yoga found me. However the realization of the transformation I felt wasn’t just for me; it extended to my children, influencing their daily lives in countless positive ways. By 2020, my personal & professional lives finally crashed into each other and so began the journey to turn my passion into a solution for families like mine. Was it a risk? Leaving my stable job, executive position, 6 figure income, annual bonus ... to do what? Open a yoga studio? You bet it was! Many questioned my decision. Many still question it. Many ask why? Well, here’s my why ... ✨ Because I deserve to prioritize self-care and be at peace with myself no matter where the journey in life leads me. ✨ Because my children deserve a foundation of wellness to be able to navigate their lives confidently. ✨ Because you deserve a peaceful, confident journey into parenthood and the support needed to get there. ✨ Because our community deserves to be supported with holistic practices by people who are aligned by the mission and values needed for it to flourish. You, your children, your family, and our community deserve all of it! At Yogamazia, our mission is to empower families through every stage of parenthood, from pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. We believe that when families are empowered, children thrive, and communities grow stronger. Together, we can build a future where every family feels supported, confident, and connected. Let’s high five to that! 💜✨🦊 #yogamazia #foxtribe #parentbeginnings #wholesomewarriors #communityconnectors #gratitude #respect #authenticity #community #equity #transformingfamilies #maternalhealth #empowerfamilies #highfivegrant #themamaladder #familywellness
