Yost & Baill Partner Steven Theesfeld and Marie Cheung-Truslow, Esq.’s Treatise on subrogation law was recently cited by the Superior Court of Delaware, in Rodriguez v. Great American Insurance Company, 2022 WL 591762, at *7. The Treatise is part of The New Appleman on Insurance Law Library Edition (2021); The New Appleman set is recognized as the most up-to-date source for analysis of insurance law in the United States. It provides in-depth analysis and complete case law support for any insurance issue, including, Subrogation. 

After 2 years of battling a horrible disease my brother Larry is now in peace. He touched so many people in his life. He founded Yost & Baill, served on the Hernepin County Bar ethics committee, partnered in founding the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, served on USTA Northern committees, and so much more. He was a friend to everyone he met, including most lawyers who were his adversaries. He connected people and enriched so many lives. He will be missed but remembered.

Fire sprinkler systems have been routinely installed in commercial structures for decades and are becoming increasingly required within single-family homes. Although fire sprinklers have a long-standing history of providing early suppression efforts, as more structures become outfitted with fire sprinklers, the likelihood of inadvertent water discharges increases. Damage caused by inadvertent sprinkler activations in the absence of a fire leads to significant monetary losses and business interruption.
