🧠 Traditional workplace norms often cater to just one way of thinking and learning, but when we begin to value and embrace #neurodivergent ways of thinking, we open the door to deeper creativity and meaningful innovation. 🌱 Fostering a culture of belonging means recognizing that we all thrive when we’re seen, supported, and empowered to show up as our true selves. 🎖️ Behind every service member and Veteran in need of support, there’s often a caregiver—spouses, parents, children, and friends—who step up in ways that go unnoticed. These individuals juggle emotional and physical care, financial stress, and their well-being, often without the recognition or resources they deserve. ➡️ Discover the challenges military caregivers face and how we can support them. 📖 Read more: https://lnkd.in/emStpiKC 👊 Who are the caregivers in your life? When we think about the struggles service members and #Veterans face, physical wounds and #PTSD are often top of mind. But there’s another, less visible injury that can leave a lasting impact: #moralinjury. Unlike PTSD, which is rooted in fear and trauma, moral injury is more about guilt, shame, or a loss of trust. It’s an invisible wound that can weigh just as heavily as physical injuries, affecting mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. 👀 We all feel it—fear. Before a big decision, when stepping into the unknown, or even in the quiet moments when self-doubt creeps in. The key isn’t to eliminate fear (because let’s be real, that’s impossible). It’s to acknowledge it, face it, and choose not to let it control you. 🟢 A simple way to start? Take one minute. 📈 Studies show that acknowledging your fears—and intentionally letting them go—can significantly ease anxious thoughts throughout the day. Take a moment for this quick mindfulness exercise to reset your mind and step into the day with clarity and focus. 👊 How do you work through fear?

We are thrilled to expand our support for veterans in Massachusetts by partnering with the Massachusetts Office of the Veteran Advocate! By providing dedicated resources for Veteran Service Officers, we’re ensuring that those who care for our veterans also get the support they need.

Cabana is proud to share the news of our recent partnership with the Massachusetts Office of the Veteran Advocate to expand tailored support for municipal Veteran Service Officers (#VSOs) across the Commonwealth. Every day, these frontline civil servants provide critical guidance and care to #veterans, often shouldering the unseen daily tolls of their work. But who supports them? This month, we’ve added a new a semi-monthly support group series designed specifically for those who dedicate their lives to veterans’ well-being—VSOs, case workers, and peer supporters—on top of our 30+ weekly live sessions offered on everyday challenges. #Burnout and case fatigue are real challenges in this field. By providing VSOs and veteran advocates with the tools to care for themselves, we empower them to better serve those who served our country. Thank you to leaders like Robert Notch and Scott Pitta for recognizing this need and your collaborative spirit. #Resilience #PeerSupport
