YPTC attended the HBCU Library Alliance Meeting this week. Horace Campbell, MBA and I enjoyed connecting with these dedicated library professionals from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We gained valuable insights on the unique needs and challenges facing HBCU libraries. We shared tools to help HBCU professionals better understand and advocate for their financial needs. Looking forward to putting the ideas from the meeting into action. Your Part-Time Controller, LLC #HBCU #LibraryJoy #LibraryLeaders #LibraryTrustee #LibraryBoard

Well said, Jim McCormick!
Many business partners often ask me, what are the signs to look for when their clients need YPTC services? Below are just a few: - "I can't get financial information" - "My CFO/Controller/Accountant resigned" - "I do not understand or trust the numbers" - "Our audit is behind" - "Our processes need improvement" - "I'm concerned about internal controls" If you are experiencing any of these in your nonprofit fiscal operations, reach out, YPTC is here to help!

Had a fantastic time spending the day with my Your Part-Time Controller, LLC colleagues from the Phoenix, Los Angeles, Denver, and Remote Services (Gold!) markets last Friday at our regional staff meeting. We started the day getting a "state of the union" town hall update from our COO Heidi Pelczar. Our fantastic Market Directors Deanna Peterson, Daniel Tritch, CPA, Jennifer Banks, FCA, and Aimee Pourciau led us through the "power skills" training sessions through the day. I loved hearing and learning via "stories from the front" from Eugene Gonzales, Chelsea Montgomery, Andrew Kline, and Miranda Jijana. I also met some new colleagues across all the markets and enjoyed spending the day with my table-mates Nya Jaoude, Ryan Drake, and Mariela Jalfen. Next up regional staff meeting day with my colleagues in the Houston and Dallas market... in Houston! #YPTCForTheFuture

I am excited to share that I have been selected as one of ALPFA Inc - Association of Latino Professionals For America 2024 Rising Stars together with my colleague, the wonderful Maria Jimenez, MBA! Receiving this recognition is both humbling and empowering. Personally, it honors the values of resilience and hard work instilled by family and community, reinforcing that our heritage is a strength. Professionally, it motivates me to keep pushing for excellence and connects me to a network of Latino professionals for collaboration and mentorship. This recognition is a reminder that I am part of a thriving community, and I’m excited to contribute to its future. I am also very grateful for Your Part-Time Controller, LLC and the opportunity to collaborate with amazing colleagues and nonprofits that work to make the world a better place every day. #yptc #alpfamilia
