A U.S. Department of State's flagship program for emerging entrepreneurs from Europe.
About us
The Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) is the U.S. Department of State's flagship program for emerging European entrepreneurs. Since its launch in 2016, approximately 300 YTILI alumni from across Europe have bolstered their business skills and transatlantic partnerships through the YTILI Fellowship Program. YTILI uses entrepreneurship as a tool for economic empowerment to promote mutual understanding, enhance business and leadership skills, and build lasting partnerships between business leaders from Europe and the United States. Beginning in October 2021, YTILI will empower a new cohort of young European business and social entrepreneurs to grow their ventures, foster global partnerships, and positively impact the economic development of their communities. ·Following the completion of the U.S. Department of State’s Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative, the impact continues to grow through the #ReciprocalExchange's focus on the YTILI Fellows’ Action Plans. During their time in the United States, YTILI Fellows collaborated with their U.S. Placement Host on an Action Plan that outlines what they learned in the U.S. and how they will create a meaningful project to positively impact their home community or business. The Reciprocal Exchange provides an opportunity for a selected number of U.S. Placement Hosts to join their YTILI Fellow in Europe in order to support the implementation of the Action Plan and, in turn, learn from the country they are visiting for a mutually beneficial experience. The 2024 Reciprocal Exchange welcomes 12 U.S. Placements Hosts from 6 different cities. Throughout September, they will travel to 1 of 10 participating European countries. The participants will be working to strengthen transatlantic business partnerships and the strong ties between the United States and Europe. Congratulations to all selected!
