A message from Debbie Pope, CEO, YWCA Boulder County: The strength of women coming together to drive change and impact our communities is nothing short of extraordinary—and it continues to inspire me every single day. Last night, the passage of Amendment 79 to enshrine reproductive rights and access in the Colorado Constitution was a testament to the power of that collective force. Thousands of volunteers, united in purpose, gathered a record number of signatures to secure the opportunity for Coloradans to directly vote for this monumental measure. It’s a victory that reflects the relentless dedication and resilience of so many. Today, I feel deeply moved, and I’m reminded of one truth: The YWCA will always stand at the forefront of organizing, mobilizing, and fighting for racial and gender justice. We are committed to working toward a future where equity is not just a goal, but becomes a reality. This important work is grounded in bringing our community together to move forward with shared purpose and solidarity. We know the road ahead is not without challenges—whether it's the high cost and limited access to child care, the fight for equal pay, creating pathways for women in STEM and emerging careers, or ensuring the health and safety of women and girls. But I remain hopeful because I’ve witnessed the incredible power of women and allies—together—making the impossible possible. Thank you for being part of this movement. Your commitment fuels our collective strength and gives us the courage to continue pushing for a world where justice and opportunity are available to all. With Care, Debbie (Pictured: Debbie Pope with speakers at our 10/19/2024 Get Out the Vote Rally)

Let’s make our voices heard and uplift our community’s spirit through the power of our votes! Whether you’re heading to the polls, casting your vote by mail, or encouraging others to participate, remember that every action counts. Your vote is a tribute to your loved ones and all those who came before us. #YWomenVote #YWomenVote #DDLMYWCA
