Yesterday was a powerful day for YWCA Tulsa as our team, including CEO Julie Davis, joined a peaceful demonstration on the steps of the Oklahoma State Capitol. We stood in solidarity with immigrant communities to protest the new immigration law HB 4156. Surrounded by a vibrant crowd of families, children, non-profits, organizers, and community members, we celebrated the incredible contributions of immigrants in Oklahoma. Hosted by the Oklahoma Latino Caucus, this inspiring event brought together over 1,000 voices united for justice and inclusivity.
