We're thrilled to be celebrating another day of National Manufacturing Week alongside The U.S. Census Bureau and The Manufacturing Institute - MI! 🏭 Some people think that manufacturing is a dirty business that has a negative impact on local environments. That couldn't be further from the truth! ⛔ Products made in American factories, especially industrial materials like steel, are produced in a far more environmentally friendly manner than their counterparts from overseas. ♻️ Check out how steel manufactured in the United States is saving the environment: https://lnkd.in/e5Uf_mH2 #MFGDay24 #BelieveInWhatYouBuild #infrastructure #construction #DomesticManufacturing

When the stakes are high, failure is not an option. Steel conduit is often used in critical infrastructure projects such as hospitals, power plants, oil refineries, and food processing facilities. In high-stakes environments such as these, reliability is everything. That’s why Zekelman product undergoes rigorous testing to meet the highest UL quality standards in top-tier labs. Imported conduit doesn’t always meet these standards, leading to problems like rusting, kinking, bending, or breaking in the field. #DemandDomestic to get the quality that your critical projects deserve: https://bit.ly/4dZ7IUM #DomesticManufacturing #steel #MadeInAmerica

Last week, we took the Zekelman Industries #GrillOfSteel to Saginaw, Alabama, to cater a Customer Appreciation luncheon at Saginaw Pipe Company Inc! 🏗️ It was great to see #pipe and #tube from Zekelman's Atlas Tube in Saginaw's warehouse. Our lunch (especially the homemade ice cream) received rave reviews, so we packed up some to-go boxes for the 2nd shift as well! 🍨 It was great to see everyone at Saginaw Pipe. We can't wait to come back soon! 👋 #MakeItEZGrillin #BelieveInWhatYouBuild

In September, we took the Zekelman Industries' #GrillOfSteel to Clayton, Alabama to provide over 100 lunches for drivers and staff at @Boyd Bros. Transportation, Inc! 🚚 A lot of these #truckers work closely with us at Zekelman's Atlas Tube facility in Birmingham, Alabama, so we wanted to show our appreciation for all their hard work during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! Zekelman's very own Robert Dempsey, Kevin Sellars, and Marquis Stokes were a huge help serving up hot meals for our friends at Boyd Bros. We can't wait to come back again soon! 🌭 #MakeItEZGrillin #BelieveInWhatYouBuild #NTDAW24

Last week, we took the Zekelman Industries #GrillOfSteel down to Oneonta, Alabama to provide 250 lunches for staff and volunteers and the 2024 Blount County Alabama Radiothon! 🎙️ Hosted by WCRL 95.3/94.7, this event raises money for Blount County #schools and aims to ensure every child in Blount County has the opportunity to receive a high-quality #education. 🏫 The Radiothon has been catered by Dixie Trucking for the past 7 years. It was a pleasure teaming up with Leigh, Tracy, and Tim from Dixie to make the event a success! 🚚 By the end of the day, the Radiothon raised $2,505,697.63. 💰 We were honored to be a part of the event and look forward to heading back next year! #MakeItEZGrillin #BelieveInWhatYouBuild

Imported and domestic conduit can look similar on the outside. But electrical contractors will notice the difference when it matters—in the field. “The trouble with imported conduit comes when you start bending it, when you start trying to thread it, when you’re actually putting it through normal wear and tear on a job site,” explains Tom Reed, Contractor Technical Product Specialist, Zekelman. While American conduit follows UL standards, imported products tend to rust and fail more quickly. “Buying cheap” doesn’t pay off when it adds cost—and safety risks. Our advice? #DemandDomestic conduit and receive the highest quality product: https://bit.ly/4dZ7IUM #DomesticManufacturing #steel #MadeInAmerica
