As part of our cultural unit, one of our amazing South Bronx Pre-K parents joined the classroom to teach students a traditional Mexican folk dance. Let’s go, Zeta South Bronx Chess! This past weekend, our incredible chess team competed in the U600 Rookie section and secured an impressive 2nd place finish. At Zeta, we’re proud to provide opportunities that challenge our students to think critically, strategize, and persevere—both on and off the chessboard. Chess is more than just a game; it teaches essential life skills like problem-solving, patience, and resilience. A huge congratulations to our team for their hard work, determination, and teamwork—it’s amazing to see their efforts pay off.
