🌟 Board Member Spotlight 🌟 Mark Madigan joined the Zilber Family Foundation board in 2022, and currently serves as Vice President & Secretary. For the past 40 years he has worked at Zilber Ltd., most recently as assistant general counsel. Mark and his family are engaged in numerous nonprofit and educational organizations in Milwaukee, and he is an avid Marquette basketball fan.

The Zilber Family Foundation is excited to announce that its Board of Directors approved 19 grants totaling 6,081,000 in December! The grants aim to invest in nonprofit organizations working to enhance the well-being of individuals, families, and neighborhoods. The Foundation generally considers requests for funding three times per year in each of our program areas: Economic Stability, Basic Needs, Sector Supports and Joseph & Vera Zilber Partners. Yesterday, we announced that Operations Director Lianna Bishop will step into the role of executive director in February, succeeding Gina Stilp after six years of transformative leadership. Meet Ashley – a Milwaukee The Bridge Project mom who recently shared her inspiring journey with Carvd N Stone. Her story is one of resilience, strength and the power of community. Ashley is one of 100 mothers we've supported this year with direct cash payments. Access to unconditional cash can transform lives by empowering families to meet their unique needs and break cycles of poverty. Unconditional cash programs are being implemented nationwide, such as Sacramento County's Family First Economic Support Pilot which demonstrates the potential of guaranteed income to reduce disparities and support vulnerable communities.
