As designers of educational facilities, we understand the vital role that great schools play in a community. However, a great education involves more than just the physical environment. We celebrated National Intern Day with an afternoon kayak cruise in true Menomonee River Valley style! Our summer interns have been busy applying their classroom skills to real projects, collaborating with our architects, and visiting project sites. When planning their new Wisconsin facility, VEIT envisioned an iconic and high-profile corporate space that reflects the strong architectural branding of their Minnesota headquarters. The result is a new facility seamlessly integrating various operations, including equipment storage, maintenance, conference areas, training rooms, and office spaces, all under one roof. The visually striking entrance incorporates a retired VEIT excavator arm as both a monument and a structural element—blending form and function seamlessly.
