Digital Marketing, Agency Process and Profitability, Diversity Ally. Love all, serve all.

The LA ad community is banding together to help those affected by the fired around Los Angeles. The major industry trade bodies in LA have been working together to create a massive fundraising drive and block party, including AAF Los Angeles, ThinkLA, 4As, Social Media Club Los Angeles Angeles and Firestone Walker Brewing Company. The goal of the campaign is to collect needed supplies while raising over $100,000 dollars for World Central Kitchen, who provides meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises, and Ad Relief of Greater Los Angeles, who makes immediate and direct donations to advertising professionals affected by crises. The drive will culminate in a 300+ person block party hosted at Firestone Walker Brewery in Venice from 3-7 PM on Jan. 31. Here is the Needed Items list. We ask everyone attending to bring at least one or two of the needed items for donation: • Shampoo • Toothpaste • Toothbrushes • Deodorant • Hygiene products (hairbrush, nail clippers, etc.) • Feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons, etc.) Thank you to everyone who has expressed interest in helping the community! https://lnkd.in/gJMwGwh3 A huge Thank You to co-organizers Chris Degenaars, Wes Morton, Mandy Maddela Hoskinson, Susan Franceschini, and Sara Yazdani, plus major thanks to Nicholas Firestone and his team for hosting this! The truth is that the advertising industry is still far from gender equity among agency owners, but change is happening, with more women leaders than ever stepping up to take action. This Thursday, January 30th, the Own It community led by co-founders Christy Hiler and Jean Freeman will gather for its annual Women's Agency Ownership Summit, "Knowing and Growing Our Value." Keynote speaker, Danielle Kushner Smith, Vice President of The Collective at Wasserman, will dissect how women’s sports reached its tipping point and how women leaders can apply those learnings to agency business, along with a powerhouse group of speakers across advertising who will discuss the ins and outs of running an agency, from talent recruitment to PR and communications, to business development and more. • Last week, we had the privilege of participating in the first-ever virtual Global Town Hall hosted by Worldwide Partners, Inc., and it was a great success! With over 860+ attendees from 78 agencies across 30 countries, this event showcased the true power of independent agencies coming together. A huge thank you to John Harris and Stephen Brown for co-hosting an engaging and inspiring conversation. We’re also incredibly proud of our very own Laura Stayt of the WPI Next Gen Council for helping to concept and bring this Town Hall to life. Being part of a global network of independent agencies is an honor and a chance to innovate, connect, and make an impact on a global scale. We’re energized for all the possibilities and collaborations 2025 holds for our agencies and the Worldwide Partners network.

This year, we had the honor of working with some of the most influential names, from Time Magazine Athlete of the Year Caitlin Clark, to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women honoree Jennifer Garner. We teamed up with Olympic gold medalist Scottie Scheffler, LPGA Player of the Year Nelly Korda, and Olympic icon Lindsey Vonn, who made a triumphant return to skiing after nearly six years. In the world of entertainment, we collaborated with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, one of the top influencers of 2024, and helped the Minnesota Timberwolves reintroduce the spirit of Minnesota Nice, with stars like Anthony Edwards leading the charge. Plus, we’re proud to have worked with the NFL, who was just named a Fast Company 2024 “Brands That Matter” honoree for their efforts in growing Flag Football opportunities for high school girls. There’s more to come in 2025, and we can’t wait!
